FORM OF PAYMENT
Payments can be made by Visa, Mastercard, certified cheque or money order. Authorization for use of a passenger’s credit card for any form of payment indicates your compliance with the terms and conditions set forth by Canada Connection Tours. A verbal authorization of a passenger’s credit card confirms that a reservation has been requested and once confirmed, Canada Connection Tours reserves the right to cancel any reservations if deposits or final payments are late.
DEPOSIT
Deposit , as per tour, per person for land only package is required at the time of booking, which is non-refundable once your booking is confirmed.
AIRLINES
Airlines require full payment at the time of booking to guarantee airfares and reservation. Airline tickets are non-refundable and name changes cannot be made unless approved by the airline. The airline passenger tickets, when issued, will be a sole contract between the airline and buyer/passenger of the tickets.
INSURANCE
Health, accident, luggage and trip interruption/cancellation insurance are not included but are strongly recommended. Insurance must be purchased at the time of booking your reservation.
FINAL PAYMENT
Final payment is due 65 days prior to departure, unless otherwise noted. If the reservation is made within 65 days, full payment is due immediately. For courier service, an additional fee may apply.
CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations must be received in writing. Refunds in full, less deposit will be given up to 65 days prior to departure. Cancellations within 64 days of the departure date are subject to the following per person charges:
• 64-40 days prior to departure - 50% of the land tour cost
• 39-0 days prior to departure - 100% of the land tour cost
Should Canada Connection Tours find it necessary to cancel a tour, Canada Connection Tours liability will be limited to the refund of amounts paid by the traveller to Canada Connection Tours for their package.
REFUNDS
No refund or credit will be given for unused portions of your package. If a passenger decides to make alterations to their holiday without Canada Connections Tours knowledge or approval, Canada Connection Tours will not be held responsible for reimbursements for any unused portions or for any additional charges incurred due to the passenger’s alterations. Any additional expenses incurred on top of the package price are solely the responsibility of the travelling passenger.
BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
Two (2) pieces of checked baggage are allowed per person; weight should not exceed 23 kg (50lbs) per baggage with maximum linear dimensions per bag (length + width + height) of 158 cm (62 “) along with one (1) carry on bag of 10 kg (22lbs) maximum dimensions of 23 cm x 40 cm x 55 cm (9” x 15.5” x 21.5”). One set of snow skis are allowed per person (containing one pair of skis, poles and boots). These sets are considered as one piece of checked baggage and no other item(s) can be carried in the package. Extra baggage charges vary by airline. It is your responsibility to check with your applicable carrier for their baggage allowance policy and excess baggage charges prior to departure.
TOUR PACKAGE PRICES
Prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars. Prices are subject to change due to availability and fluctuations in currency exchange rates. In the event of a price increase in excess of 7% of the tour package price (other than fuel surcharges, government levis or taxes) you are entitled to cancel the arrangements and receive a full refund less the deposit. Every effort will be made to advise you of any price increase at least 64 days prior to departure (when final payment is due). Once full payment has been received, your tour package price will be guaranteed.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Canadian citizens require a valid passport for travel to European countries; also some Eastern European countries require a Visa. Your passport must be valid for six months after the return date. It is the clients’ responsibility to ensure proper documentation for the country/countries they are visiting. Non-Canadian citizens should consult the appropriate Consulate concerning proper documentation.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
All bookings are accepted on the condition that Canada Connection Tours acts only as a booking agent to the passenger in respect to travel by rail, motorcoach, rental car, aircraft, or any other conveyance, and assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be caused either by reason of defect in any vehicle or for any reason whatsoever, or through the acts of default of any company or person engaged in carrying out the arrangements of the tour. Canada Connection Tours is not liable for loss or consequence due to delay, schedule changes or any cause or irregularity occasion by cancellation, mechanical difficulties, over booking, strikes of airlines, trains, hotels, car rental companies, ground service operators, in addition to acts of God, etc. Under these circumstances, no portion of land arrangements will be refunded. Canada Connection Tours or airlines concerned will not be held liable for the lack of snow or non operation of ski lifts, closure of access routes to or from resorts due to weather conditions, nor are they liable for the late arrival of passengers at airports or at hotels due to bad weather, nor are they liable for the refund of any unused hotel accommodations, ski lift passes or meals caused by such late arrivals.
